because as adults it is too late for us we are already trapped in the matrix. we have too much stuff to enjoy any of it. the most we can do is reminisce on the time when we only had one game to play.

I look at the new things and I'm like; "do you bro!" The graphics are better but I dont really need it. And the fear that the newer player generation has is that their current favorite thing is going to die if they dont get everyone sucked into the void that they are living in.

Hopefully these games are cheap to buy in 20 years when I finally buy a system that can play them.

i turned 18 on the last year got diagnosed with adhd since i was like, 10 - 11 years and well.. i used to just like, live and ignore the fact that i have adhd until i turned like, 15- 16 but before this i knew i had a problem, but never searched for it for me, i just had attention deficit, but later on my 15 - 16 i started to search more about it, and then I realized, I had no idea that it affected almost every aspect of my life, even now, i'm still searching about it, and trying to learn about it, i knew that adhd affected me in gaming, but I didn't know how, since I thought it was something normal, and it was just the way I was, and that it had nothing to do with adhd, but watching this video, I realized that it describes exactly how my gaming sessions are, and how adhd affected me even in this aspect of life obs: i'm brazilian, sorry for the bad english

The games try to add too many systems which is why they force tutorials. The systems often bloat the game. While crafting appeals to some players it is a waste of time. But if you dont craft you will be under powered so they force crafting instead of providing another way to get you levels up or the resources you need. You could always buy the equipment in the shops instead of crafting them.

The size is a result of it containing the different versions for the parallel universes in which the game exists

The ps4 might be the last truly offline console. if you are playing multiplayer stuff you are pretty much cooked for game preservation. If you are using online accounts and other such modern traps you are pretty much cooked after the services die. The XboxOne/Series consoles cant even reset without connecting to the servers for updates.

Came across your channel tonight and have watched a handful of videos so far. This one resonates with me immensely. Particularly as I’ve been being more open and honest about a very, very likely ADHD diagnosis that I really should get officialized. That along with the introversion, having had my first child recently, all hits home hard. I’ve been trying to be much more deliberate and intentional with how I spend my time and to follow through and stay dedicated to the hobbies I choose. Navigating life as an intelligent neurodivergent is not easy, but persistence and remaining open to change sure does help crack the code. I went for method 2 and it works so far. BUT theres a pretty annoying catch. I cant scroll smoothly through the games list, as OPL needs 10-15 secs per game to update the covers etc. Also the game title is not displayed correctly but the filename instead. Am I doing anything wrong or is it just like that?

Free FMCB gets stuck at slash screen on boot with game drive plugged in for method 2. If I boot my ps2 without it and plug in the drive after it works fine. Not the end of the world but annoying, is there any way to fix this?

Have you actually tried using that art pack with a list of more than 200 games on the exfat drive method? Its basically completely unusable.

FYI, your MemeryCard pro image doesnt work. When i load OPL, the display looses signal. Aside from that, i finally got it working after a couple of attempts. But, why does OPL take SOOO long to load the artwork for each game? And it doesnt remember when i go back to the game? I went with the DualShock theme but if its this slow switching games, then its not worth it. It takes like 20-30 second Per game to load it, and when its loading, i cannot move to another game so i have to wait for it to load. Also. i hate youtube's tracking redirect links.

I have a nice vision master pro 454, but being real, my run of the mill LCD with black frame insertion DOES compare, I myself can't tell the difference in motion clarity between them. I had an oled breifly but it didn't have black frame insertion I use the crt for the vibes, though the high end crts are almost too good and sometimes it just feels like "an screen"

Based on the warnings they provided I was under the impression that my network captures were the only thing going away… What’s even worse is that all my local halo clips are gone BUT my poopoo caca destiny clips stayed! Words can’t describe how much of a POS decision this is. Whoever did this and supported it shouldn’t have a job. They didn’t give an adequate warning and I didn’t know about it until today when I went to check my clips and screenshots and they were all gonna except for very recent ones. No matter what there should be a way to recover them. Rest in piece Xbox. I don’t think it will buy another console from them again.

I actually find most PS2 games running at native resolution to look pretty ugly and distracting. I'd rather see crisp baron environments than a mess of peculating pixels dancing everywhere, I find it extremely distracting. Its also nice to be able to read things in a lot of games you otherwise couldn't on real hardware. Same goes for framerate, a rock solid 60 in most games via emotion engine overclocking in PCSX2 is a literal game changer. Also, not sure why you have issues with Soul Caliber 2, mine looks flawless at 4k (I'm running PCSX2 2.3.131 Nightly release) Some games still don't run right and you need a PS2 for them, but PS2 emulation has improved MASSIVLY in the last 2 or 3 years, and its really awesome to have.

3:10 I beg to differ. It was a headache having to deal with crashes and troubleshooting the PC version. It might be just not compatible with my hardware but I ended up just playing the PS2 version.

Bah, I have to jump in again: Dark Void ZERO was a promotional tie-in game for the newly released Dark Void that was released for the DSi. It was a very tongue-in-cheek nod at a "What if this series originally began on the NES and is an all-time CAPCOM classic?" kind of deal. It was cute, and fun, but it was not any sort of inspiration for the original game.

Sorry, I have to interject here (I know. Nerd and all that.) Aero GPX was more inspired by F-Zero X and GX. Wipeout, while it was also a hovercar racer, was nothing like any of the previously named games.

I have a bunch of corrupted saves files for one of my joytech ps1 memorycards. This memorycard is a "four slot memory card" At the time when this issue happened the saves got corrupted, I had to delete the slot to be able to use the card. Unfortunate as it is. Is there any way to recover these lost files on that slot?

I'm also curious if this an ongoing thing for the rest of you. I am on xboxone and my gameclips are still being deleted from my hd, as some kind of insane microsoft practice I guess. Is this really the way they are operating now or is there something seriously wrong with my system? When I look at a gameclip there is no expiration notice anywhere but they are being deleted from my hd. I assume this is on the same schedule that clips are removed from xbox live but I don't know.

I've been with xbox since the first console and I keep seeing good things go away. Remember playing music from your phone, ipod , or ripped cds in the background of your games on xbox 360? This is insane though, deleting gameclips from the hd and I think screenshots too. I would be surprised if they haven't been sued but I'm guessing one of those lengthy agreements we have to sign off on gave them the ok to do what they want with our own data assuming it is on their hardware. It should be criminal and shows their total lack of integrity.

1000% agree with you not wanting an LCD after re-experiencing CRT and then getting an OLED. If you haven't yet, get the OLED monitor! Similar to you, I had a CRT, a 240hz 1080p gaming IPS and a 120hz OLED TV and would rotate between displays based on the content/game I was playing. I picked up a 1440p 240hz OLED on a black friday sale and holy shit it's next level. It makes all of the other monitors I use feel archaic lol. I do still like the TV for some single player games, movies and consoles, but would be happy if all I had were the OLED monitor too I think. I do still think the CRT has a bit better motion clarity, but if we ever get BFI on a 240+hz OLED we will basically be there IMO
